Letizia from Spain: she wears the same dress as the winner at an award ceremony, here’s her unexpected reaction

On Wednesday, May 4, Queen Letizia of Spain presented the Disability Awards, which bear her name. For the occasion, Felipe VI’s wife had opted for a two-tone outfit, which was equal to a winner she rewarded. This gave rise to an unexpected reaction from the frost.

A funny situation that ended in a beautiful moment of complicity. Next Wednesday May 4th is the queen Letizia d’Espagne was in Mérida, the capital of Extremadura, in the southwest of the country. The wife of King Felipe VI went there to 30e council meeting of the royal college on disability, of which she is honorary president. She also took the opportunity to present the “Prize Queen Letizia 2021″.

These awards, which therefore bear his name, promote the rights of people with disabilities, their social integration, equal opportunities, their rehabilitation and the prevention of disabilities. Thus, they reward people, companies or entities – in particular cities – from Spain or Latin America for their actions in these areas.

A cheap outfit

For this event, Queen Letizia had chosen to create a new two-tone dress round neck, sleeveless and trapeze skirt. Underlined at the waist by a belt, the outfit, very original, presents, at the front as well as at the back, a white side and a black one. Everything was accompanied by black pumps and a bag.

But when it came time to present a prize to one of the winners, the monarch’s wife had a funny surprise. In awarding a special mention to Inmaculada Vivas Tesón, a law professor at the University of Seville, for her professional career in the work of people with disabilities, as well as for her academic and research career in the legal field, Letizia from Spain realized she was wearing the same dress as her. The Spanish magazine !Hola!, which stated that the outfit, from the brand Mangoonly cost 49.99 euros, indicated that the sovereign responded with a smile and a lot of humor. She didn’t hesitate to hug the winner when she presented her with her prize.
