What are the films and series that you should not miss on the streaming platform this weekend?
ozark season 4 part 2
Available on Netflix – Duration: 7 episodes of approximately 1 hour
“Stop with my CF account please”
What is it about? Devastated, Ruth heads to Chicago for revenge, while Marty tries to stop her from doing something she might regret.
Why should you watch it? Initially held for a clone of Breaking Bad† Ozark will have found its own path, that of a collective spiral to hell. Rather than dissecting an individual’s actions or mental resources, the series has chosen to look at a vast gallery of protagonists who the lure of profit and violence propels within a seemingly unstoppable mechanism.
And from the first chapter of this conclusion, the tone is set: Ozark will not give peace to his anti-heroes, immediately confronted with the consequences of a recent massacre. A dark promise and a process as violent as it is brutal† The story revives with a more tragic slant and will give prominence to the contradictions of Marty, more torn than ever between his life choices, their consequences and his ability to bear the weight of an existence now populated by corpses and abuse. Ozark Citizens!

A bit invasive, Delon
What is it about? In 1860s Sicily, a prince has to resign himself to his change in political status when his cousin joins the opposition and falls in love with the mayor’s daughter.
Why should you watch it? Sublime attempt to recapture the beauty of a bygone era, cheetah shines mainly through the author’s requirement drawing a heartbreakingly beautiful melodrama† Take advantage of a exceptional cast, and a accurate staging (which has a few lengths, however), the film is one of those works that you must see at least once in your life, even if it means falling asleep to it.
Created in 1963 by the Italian master Luchino Visconti, cheetah wants to be the manifesto of the absolute formalism of its author. A centerpiece of French and Italian cinema, the film based on the novel of the same name by the Prince of Lampedusa, Giuseppe Tomasi, responds toan aesthetic to a climax and a contemplative reflection on the passage of time and the many changes that result† A film monument to apotheotic elegance that won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released.

What is it about? In a Paris hospital, a young medical student becomes an intern in his father’s ward and is confronted with the harsh realities of the profession.
Why should you watch it? Because the filmmaker Thomas Lilti is not a director like the others. This is a former doctor whose the experience in the medical field allows him to touch his films today with impressive precision in the portrait of the state of the public hospital in France.
A very important gesture in Hippocrates where the characters and their problems are transcribed with disarming simplicity and humanity, the vibrating chord of a work that never ends in misery. A consistency in the filmmaker who almost systematically saves himself from pathos thanks to a humor and a tenderness that never trivializes the action. On the contrary, Hippocrates sounds terribly true, thanks to a very fine writing and a fascinating cast, from Vincent Lacoste to Reda Kateb, via Félix Moati.

William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway, among others
What is it about? After the destruction of the Globe Theatre, famed playwright William Shakespeare returns to Stratford-upon-Avon for his long-neglected family.
Why should you watch it? Who else but Kenneth Branagh could have made a film about Shakespeare’s life and starred in it? Nobody. Often considered a better actor than director, he often decides to connect the two by starring in most of his films. Of everything is true, the actor and filmmaker seems to be closing a loop. Indeed, an admirer of English literature, Branagh has repeatedly transposed Shakespeare’s plays to the cinema, in Love’s Labors Lost† Hamlet† A lot of noise for nothing† Henry V et as you would like†
In this original screenplay by playwright Ben Elton, Branagh plays an aging, career-ending Shakespeare† We discover him far from the bustling streets of London, in his native village, the time for introspection. The point here is not to show us the rise of the artist or his creative madness, but on the contrary, to show us a playwright who has decided to stop writing. With Judi Dench and Ian McKellen, everything is true will delight lovers of the English language.
Panic at the Power Plant: Three Mile Island
On Netflix May 4 – Duration: 4 episodes of approximately 45min
What is it about? Privileged Witnesses return to the events, controversies and consequences associated with the accident at the Three Miles Island Nuclear Power Plant in Pennsylvania.
Why should you watch it? Because Panic in Power Plant: Three Mile Island returns to theone of the worst nuclear accidents in American history. Describing the accident, the consequences for citizens and the controversies surrounding the cover-up of the affair: this miniseries seems to follow this fascinating and horrific story of the accident on Three Mile Island from every angle.
But besides drawing a rich and little known material, the documentary has a form of formally interesting object because it seems to mix reconstructions, archive footage, amateur videos and interviews. Add to that the fact that the director of the feature-length documentary The ivory gameKief Davidson, took care of the direction here, in collaboration with the producers of the film Erin Brockovich, Alone Against Alldirected by Steven Soderbergh.
On Netflix May 5 – Duration: 6 episodes of unknown duration
What is it about? The incredible story of Clark Olofsson, the criminal who inspired the concept of Stockholm Syndrome. According to his lies and his truths.
Why should you watch it? Well, because it’s time to broaden your cinematic horizons and what better way to do it than an explosive Swedish detective series? Bill Skarsgård, youngest member of the very film-loving Skarsgard family, performs here a fictionalized version of the famous criminal Clark Olofsson, based on his highly objective autobiography† Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the director of Ultra-violent Polar Porte Mads Mikkelsen, Clark thus promises an experience shifted to the extreme, which will not hesitate to dive head first into the most vulgar twists.
The series thus tells six episodes during the life of theone of the country’s most controversial figures, who, despite his frequent accusations, will manage to be loved by the entire nation, popularizing the phrase “Stockholm Syndrome”. A scathing “Nordic noir” with wonderfully incorrect main characterfrom which we will enjoy the incredible descent into hell.

Why should you watch it? If you want Austin Powers and you are desperately waiting for a fourth movie to see the light of day, this series is for you. Directed by Tim Kirkby, the quintet is a crazy new idea straight out of Mike Myers’ head. Voice actor of Shrek, the actor is arguably one of the most iconic faces of comedy along with Jim Carrey. After his role as Wayne Campbell in Wayne’s worldbut most notably his roles as Austin Powers and Dr Denfer in the three films directed by Jay Roach, Myers returns to play not one or two, but multiple roles†
In The quintupleMyers plays a Canadian journalist sent to investigate a secret organization made up of several members, all played by… Myers.
