In time Night of Museums from Porto Alegre, the main cultural centers are open to visitors, and presentations of music, art, cinema and literature take place in the streets and squares. The completely free festival has been running since 2016 and will be held in person again after the pandemic on May 21 from 19:00 to 01:00.

In addition, two stages will be installed in the historical center: the first No customs areaa traditional meeting place that has existed since the 18th century and the second before Military Brigade Museum. Other presentations will take place in the gardens of the museums, for example, House of Culture Mario Quintanamake Planetarium UFRGS It’s from Porto Alegre Museum Joaquim Felizardo. Artists will wander between rock, pop, jazz and regional instrumental music, as well as theatrical performances, film screenings and slam (spoken poetry). For safety reasons and to improve pedestrian traffic, some streets in the region will be closed to vehicular traffic.
