A COPYCAT WALKS THE STREET
Vanessa spent the night in the hospital and is still in shock. With tears in her eyes, she confides to Georges that she sees Mercier’s gaze again and that she feels the needle on his neck. To reassure her, the policeman guarantees that she is safe and that he will not hurt her again. To the extent that Vanessa finds it very annoying to have stabbed a man, Georges reminds her that she acted in self-defense. When Victoire comes to check on her constants, the chief takes the opportunity to hear from her attacker. Doctor Lazzari tells him that he died an hour earlier. Immediately Vanessa bursts into tears in the arms of Georges who whispers to her that she has nothing to blame herself.
If Mercier’s death is good news for the police, it still upsets prosecutor Perraud. Although the investigation is now complete, Sébastien believes the killer should have appeared in court and paid for what he did. While Martin is delighted that he will never again suffer victims, Perraud points out that this does not erase the evil he has wrought or the lives he has destroyed.
Karim, for his part, takes over Vanessa’s statement, which tells in detail what happened at the Spoon the day before. According to Captain Saeed, what she did was brave and George in turn repeats to her that she did nothing wrong before telling her he loves her.
Meanwhile, Tristan goes to the Spoon to check on Bart and Louise. He then makes them realize that the best thing they can do to celebrate life is to keep their marriage alive. Wrapped up by this idea, the couple immediately calls the town hall and relaunches the invitations.
At the same time, Georges is surprised that Mercier has changed his modus operandi. Indeed, since the seamstress, the killer proceeded to the injection with a syringe. He feels that he has missed something, but Martin feels that he is quite shocked by what has happened to Vanessa. So he asks her to take a few days off to take a step back. The case is now closed to the police.
Not far from there, Karim tells Chloé that Mercier is dead. As a result, she no longer needs police protection. In the aftermath, Chloe gets a call from Louise informing her that the wedding is going ahead and will take place the following day.
Even if Mercier is really dead, his imitator still runs through the streets and is about to take another victim by carefully preparing a tiger rose.
Vanessa has since been released from the hospital to the delight of Bart, Louise and Tristan. While the couple offers her to go on vacation to recover from her emotions, the young woman prefers to go back to her kitchen so as not to be afraid. To change his mind, Bart tells him that the marriage will remain. Delighted, the chef even agrees to make a truce with Tristan for the time of the wedding. Immediately after that, Tristan and Vanessa get to work.
At the end of the day, Bart takes advantage of a one-on-one time with Louise to tell her he wants to start a family with her. After already thinking about it, Louise declares that she too wants to have a child with him. The couple then kisses tenderly.
As night falls, the serial killer prepares to carefully examine Bart and Louise’s wedding invitation.
MANON GETS AN INTERNSHIP AT THE CURATORSHIP
Aurore finds it hard to accept that her daughter wants to join the police. Early in the morning she tries to explain to Manon how dangerous this work is, but without success.
Furious, Aurore finds Étienne at the Spoon and accuses him of sending her daughter to the police. If she counts on him to resolve the situation as soon as possible, the latter replies that it would be useless. Because Manon is an intelligent young woman, he urges his sister-in-law to trust him. Arriving at work, Aurore sees her daughter leaving Commander Constant’s office. Manon did indeed apply for an observation internship. While not in the habit of taking on interns, Martin agrees to do so out of friendship for Aurore.
But it’s a misunderstanding Aurore has more than one trick up its sleeve. The policewoman rushes to join Sara and Nordine so they can make her daughter’s internship as painful as possible. Since Nordine doesn’t like to sabotage her internship, Aurore says it’s not a favor, but an order.
At the end of the day, Aurore confides in her husband that she intends to ruin Manon’s stage.
CHRISTELLE KNOWS THE BLACKSINGER’S IDENTITY
Sylvain is still concerned about the message he received from the crow. So he makes an appointment with Charlie at the Spoon and interrogates her to find out if she’s talked to anyone about the gold bar. Except for the Messy’s, Charlie says she hasn’t told anyone. Immediately afterwards, Sylvain shows him the message that was sent to him.
At the same time, Victor is especially in a good mood, which Sophie has not missed. The latter also understands that the former businessman is in a bad way and that his plan is coming true. However, if the latter confirms it, he refuses to say more for the time being.
Sylvain, for his part, gets a new anonymous message saying: ” You had fun, now it’s time to pay the bill! See you soon Moreno! Back to the wall, Sylvain finds himself obliged to inform his wife. Reading the messages, Christelle understands that Brunet is their blackmailer.
